In designated reporting areas - the greater Seoul metropolitan area, metropolitan cities, and Sejong City - a housing lease contract with a deposit over 60 million won or monthly rent over 300,000 won must be reported within 30 days of the contract date; this Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport system lets you do that online. Completing the report automatically assigns a fixed date (확정일자), so there's no need to visit a community service center separately to get one. Offline, you can also report at the integrated civil affairs desk of your local town/township/neighborhood community service center. Online reporting is available 24 hours a day.
