The Korea Gas Safety Corporation's main reporting line for when you smell gas or suspect a gas-related accident at a home or shop. Calling 1544-4500 from anywhere in the country, with no area code, automatically routes you to the regional headquarters or branch office nearest to your location, giving you 24-hour emergency dispatch service. Gas accidents can also be reported through 119 and will be handled the same way. Online, the Cyber Branch (cyber.kgs.or.kr) also handles various gas-safety-related civil petitions. Phone consultation itself runs weekdays 09:00–18:00, but emergency reports are accepted 24 hours a day.
