A specialized mediation body under the Content Industry Promotion Act for resolving disputes with businesses over game item purchases, probability-based (loot box) items, and webtoon/music/other content use and purchases, without going to court. It is divided into four sections - games, edutainment, broadcasting/video, and publishing/music/performance - with mediators assigned by area of expertise. You can apply for mediation online through the website, or get counseling by calling the call center (1588-2594). Counseling and intake run on weekdays.
