A service run by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority where entering your license plate or vehicle identification number shows whether your vehicle is subject to an ongoing or completed recall. If you notice an abnormal symptom or suspect a defect while driving, you can report it through the website or the dedicated defect-report phone line (080-357-2500); submitted reports are used as evidence for manufacturing-defect investigations and can lead to a recall. Consumer satisfaction information related to new-car exchanges and refunds is also provided. Online lookups and reports are available 24 hours a day.
